Hi All! I am Kelsey Wallace. I am a single mom living on my family farm with my 6 year old son. I am new to blogging, but love sharing our chaotic farm life style with others. Our farm activities include container gardening, fermenting, canning, baking sourdough, and of course decorating our fabulous farmhouse for every season, and I love getting a good deal on it all!
I grew up on a farm and have always loved gardening, but after I became single a full garden was harder to maintain. Container gardening became how I kept my farming efforts alive. Then came canning, fermenting, and finally sourdough. This is intertwined with making sure our house is as homey as possible.
Did I mention that I have a full time job? This isn’t a full time homesteader blog, cooking, decorating, lifestyle blog. Everything I do is at a small scale around a 40 per hour work week and raising my son. Due to various health issues, I am very concerned about the food I am putting in my body, however I knew that I wasn’t going to be able to jump into this head first. I have had to and continue to take baby steps to create the the lifestyle I want for my son and myself.
